WHOLE SOUL STUDIO™

From disconnection → wholeness

Rethinking trauma
Restoring wholeness
Returning to your true self

A Christ-centered, trauma-informed journey
to release what your body has been carrying

What your body is holding
cannot be healed through understanding alone

There is something deeper
that has been waiting to be seen and expressed

Something in you still feels stuck

Even after everything you’ve done

You’ve tried to move forward
You’ve processed
You’ve prayed

And yet—

It still feels
heavy
unresolved
hard to explain

Not because you’re doing anything wrong

But because what your body is holding
has never been fully expressed

So it stays

In your body
In your patterns
In the places you can’t quite think your way out of

Most approaches ask you to understand it
manage it
move past it

But what is held inside
doesn’t go away

It waits

And when it is finally expressed

something begins to shift

The body softens
The weight lifts
And you no longer have to carry it alone

Whole Soul Studio™ is a body of work devoted to
the healing and wholeness of women

Through a Christ-centered, trauma-informed, nurse-led approach,
this work integrates the body, story, and Spirit

At the center of this work is:

Artful Storywork™

A guided, embodied expression process
where women learn to:

See their story
Express what has been held
Release it from the body
and reconnect with their inner knowing

This is not about being artistic

It is about being honest

A new conversation around women’s trauma

– The hidden impact of trauma on the female body

– Why women’s trauma is often carried, not expressed

– Why expression—not just regulation—is the missing piece

THE RETURN

This is not a program

It is a return

A return to your body
to your story
to your inner knowing
to the Kingdom within

A return to the place where

fear no longer leads
and love becomes your center

Where healing is not forced

But allowed

For the woman who has been strong for too long

Who has lived through things she doesn’t always have words for

Who understands her story—
but still feels it in her body

Who is ready to stop carrying it alone

Trauma-Informed Artist of the Soul
Creator of Artful Storywork™

Nurse · Artist · Educator

Shelley Henk is a Trauma-Informed Artist of the Soul and the creator of Artful Storywork™. As a nurse, artist, and educator with over 26 years in healthcare—and a trauma thriver herself—her work is not just something she teaches, but something she has lived.

Through her own journey of disconnection, healing, and restoration, she came to understand the language of the body and the stories it holds.

Her work lives beneath the surface, in the quiet places where story is carried long before it is ever spoken. She creates Artful Storyworks from lived experience and guides women to do the same—especially the stories that have been held in the body without words, without witness, and without release.

Shelley’s work is rooted in honesty—creating space for women to express from their authentic self without pressure or performance. As an empathetic witness to the lived stories of others, she helps bring form to what has been held inside, not to make something beautiful, but to make something true.

Through color, shape, story, and movement, what is unseen becomes visible, what has been carried begins to release, and what has been disconnected begins to return to wholeness.

She does not create to control the outcome, but to listen, to follow, and to allow something real to take shape—so the inner world can be seen and what is felt can finally have a place to exist.

There is a way back
