You Can Love God Deeply…

And Still Feel Disconnected From Yourself

Shelley Henk is an Artist of the Soul™ creating sacred space for women to reconnect with their body, emotions, creativity, and inner life through expression, story, and embodied healing.

You’ve Learned How to Keep Going.

But Not How to Feel.

Many women know how to:

  • stay strong

  • care for others

  • push through pain

  • understand their story

But still feel:

  • emotionally disconnected

  • creatively shut down

  • spiritually dry

  • exhausted from surviving

Because what is held inside the body does not disappear simply because it is understood.

Meet Shelley Henk

Artist of the Soul™

Painter. Poet. Permission Giver, Pilgrimage Guide.

Shelley creates spaces where women can safely explore the stories, emotions, and parts of themselves that have been silenced, hidden, or carried alone.

Blending expressive healing, spiritual formation, creativity, and embodied reflection, her work invites women back to themselves
body, soul, and spirit.

Because what is held…
must eventually be expressed.

WHY THIS WORK EXISTS

You can know your story
and still carry it in your body.

After losing my father to suicide, I learned that what is held
must be expressed.

What was held began to move
when I stopped trying to think my way through healing
and began expressing it through art, story, and honesty.

I also began to see that unused creativity metastasizes.
What is silenced begins to weigh us down.

Because art is not decoration.
It is revelation.

Deep down, we know we were made for more.

Art unlocks the unlived life within us.

This is why I created Artful Storywork™.

Because expression is not extra—
it’s the missing piece.

Expression Changes What Understanding Alone Cannot

You can know your story…
and still feel it in your body.

You can understand your pain…
and still feel disconnected from yourself.

Healing is not only about insight.

It is about creating space for what has been buried to finally move.

Through creativity, reflection, story, and embodied expression, women begin reconnecting with:

  • their emotions

  • their voice

  • their creativity

  • their identity

  • their relationship with God

  • their sense of aliveness
