How do we live whole in a world that fragments us?

The answer I've found is surprisingly simple.

We reconnect.

Today, I bring together art, whole-person health, and spirituality to help women reconnect with God, themselves, and others—and remember who they are.

Nursing taught me to look beyond the symptom.

For more than twenty years, I sat beside people in some of life's hardest and holiest moments. I learned that people are never just diagnoses, symptoms, or problems to solve.

There is always a whole person underneath.

When I became an artist, I discovered another way of seeing.

The canvas brought clarity.

Things I couldn't think my way through began appearing in color, image, symbol and story. What had been tangled inside of me became visible in front of me.

I could finally step back and see the whole picture.

That discovery became Artful Storywork™.

Today, I bring the eyes of a nurse and the hands of an artist together to help women see what has been difficult to name, reconnect what life has fragmented, and come home to who God created them to be.

The Philosophy

ART IS THE WAY IN.

Sometimes words aren't enough.

We can understand our stories and still find ourselves living from them.

So we make them visible.

A mark. A color. A word. A shape.

Sometimes, standing back from what we've made, we can finally see what we couldn't see while standing inside the story.

I don't try to change women.

I see them. And help them see themselves.
